Hand-Eye Coordination Drill: Juggling

Around the time I was going into Junior High School my grandmother gave me a unique gift for the holidays. She gave me the Juggling for the Complete Klutz, which came with an instruction book and 3 bean bags. I have always liked brain teasers and puzzles, so the juggling kit was right up my alley. I do not remember how long it took to learn how to juggle, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I did not know at the time that juggling would play an essential role in my goaltending. Read more…

Pre-Game Routine

Having a set routine before each game you play can help you focus more and get into the zone easier. By not having a routine most of your mental energy will be spent thinking over what to do before the game, rushing and forgetting things.
