Hand-Eye Coordination Drill: Juggling

Around the time I was going into Junior High School my grandmother gave me a unique gift for the holidays. She gave me the Juggling for the Complete Klutz, which came with an instruction book and 3 bean bags. I have always liked brain teasers and puzzles, so the juggling kit was right up my alley. I do not remember how long it took to learn how to juggle, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I did not know at the time that juggling would play an essential role in my goaltending. Read more…

How To Achieve Your Goals – Lessons From Sam

Outside of going to the gym, the only other exercise I can do while trying to rehab the sports hernia injury I have is swimming. The apartment community that we live in has a full size pool and I try to get in three to five sessions a week. Yesterday after work I hopped in the pool to get in my current 1/4mi+ swim workout. In the lane next to me was an older gentleman who pretty much smoked me. When I was stopping to catch my breathe he was still going back and forth making it look effortless.
